SAT/ACT exams are the standard test that Canadian students are measured by if their intention is to attend Universities and Colleges in the United States. Often times, the US curriculum has some crossover, but does not reach the complexities of the programs in grade 12 courses in Canada. Therefore, the best way to get an "Apples-to-Apples" comparison with the pool of US students applying is to show an excellent SAT/ACT grade and give your child a leg up for admissions.

SAT exams are broken down into 4 sections:

1. Math (Non calculator section)

2. Math (Calculator section)

3. English (Reading Comprehension)

4. English (Essay Section)

 

Elements Education is running SAT prep sessions in both the Math and English aspects of the test with dedicated and specifically designed SAT material and practice tests. As with our other EF infused tutoring services, Executive Functioning Skills are a foundation of our approach, with coaching specifically targeted at what to expect on test day, and how to be fully prepared to excel. Successfully navigating the "Curveball" questions that SAT tests are notorious for will be critical in your child turning a great grade into a phenomenal one, and potentially opening the most prestigious doors.
